Yesterday, December 9, 2008, Violet Eve Clinger took her first step! She was standing by a book shelf, and I just happened to glance up at her when she let go with both hands, and took a step. I couldn't help myself, I gasped, and she looked up at me in surprise and lost her balance! Doh! She probably would have maintained her standing position if I could have kept quiet!
She was going up and down on her toes like a little ballerina in the picture.

she looks so big already! i was just looking online at plane tickets and i found some pretty cheap ones on southwest. i'm trying to coordinate it so that i can go see jessica and then come see you guys- doesn't seem to complicated. hopefully i can get a schedule worked out with everybody so i can come see you guys next month. can't wait!!!
